PCC design, develop and deliver contextualised courses of instruction to staff working across all transport sectors where there is an ever-increasing potential to be confronted with dangerous situations at work. PCC training aims to improve the safety and capability of those working in the sector so that they can more confidently provide safe and comfortable experiences for commuters.

The PCC team provide training to front line teams working bus, rail, light rail and ferry with clients such as Metro Trains, Kinetic Buslines, Queensland light rail, Yarra Trams and Spirit of Tasmania. All of these working environments are unique, presenting unique challenges requiring careful design and development and delivery by those with extensive operational experience. Projects include being entrusted to develop skills for the new Yarra Trams Network Security Team, a team who ensure that those using the Melbourne light rail network are safe, secure and comfortable.

Other projects include working with national heavy vehicle compliance teams and government transport safety units.

Training courses include for high-risk transport and escorts and protection of assets – ground / air / sea.

The aviation industry requires staff to often manage difficult situations in confined spaces and without additional resources. The PCC training team are able to assist by providing communications, safety and tactics training to aircrew and with the credibility of instructors coming directly from the Federal Police Air Security Officer (Air-Marshal) program into the group.

PCC deliver Aircrew security training (AST) to airline staff, both flight attendants and pilots, fulfilling all compliance and regulatory requirements as per section 4.70 of the Australian transport security regulations (ATSR) 2005.

As with all mass-transit hubs, PCC are able to provide enhanced capability at major airports and railway stations, bus and ferry terminals to assist security and enforcement professionals in the early recognition of threats to the environment as well as strategies for prevention, response and resolution. Whilst in a Federal policing role PCC instructors trained AFP officers in Behavioural targeting and questioning techniques allowing for the recognition and interception of those with criminal intent within the aviation precinct. The training, being the only of its kind in Australia, is now available to PCC clients with a demonstrated need and offered by sister company, bTAQ Pty ltd.
